A large crowd of enthusiastic Station Camp Elementary School children cheered on the athletes.

The 2017 Sumner County Special Olympics were held at Station Camp High School in Gallatin on March 31. Over 250 Special Olympians took part in a variety of track and field events in order to showcase their skills. Despite unseasonably cold conditions, the athletes, teachers, volunteers and spectators enjoyed a very special day.
