No arrests have been made in an armed robbery that occurred April 4 at the Nottingham Apartments on Sanders Ferry Road.
A victim told Hendersonville police he was approached by two men wearing masks who robbed him at gun point outside of his apartment at around 10:50 p.m. Gun shots were fired as the two men ran from the robbery. Police say they fled the scene in a dark colored or black sedan.
According to an HPD media release, police recovered video from the victim's work place on Trinity Lane in Nashville. The suspects appear to have followed the victim from Nashville to Hendersonville before robbing him, according to police.
During the video one of the suspects walked down the street while a car was driving by. Detectives would like to talk with the person that drove by the suspect on April 4 at about 9:45 p.m.
Police do not have any evidence that would lead them to believe that this recent incident is connected to a Jan. 17 carjacking that occurred at the Walton Place Apartments, according to HPD Detective Sgt. Jim Vaughn.
In that incident, a woman was confronted by two men who also appeared to have followed her from Nashville. The armed men demanded the woman's purse and keys and fled in her car. The car was later recovered at the J.C. Napier housing project in Nashville. Vaughn said one arrest has been made in that crime and that police are seeking more possible suspects.
