On Wednesday, just after midnight, police recovered a stolen vehicle - a 2010 Toyota Corolla, believed to have been stolen from Metro Nashville recently.

The vehicle was driven to a dead end business district on Molly Walton Drive, where the suspects then fled on foot across the bypass and into a nearby neighborhood.

During this same time, officers also received a report of a carjacking on Chipwood Drive. According to Det. Chris Gagnon, four black male suspects - at least one believed to have a gun, approached a male victim at his residence.

The victim reported his vehicle and phone had been stolen, but that he was unharmed.

Gagnon said the suspects then drove the vehicle to Nashville. Shortly before 3 a.m. the vehicle was reportedly spotted in the Whites Creek Pike area.

Anyone with information regarding this or other crime is encouraged to call the Hendersonville Crime Stoppers at (615) 573-5400.
