Police bust suspected credit card thieves

Hendersonville police have arrested two men in connection with fraudulent credit card purchases.

Jhoan Martin-Naranjo and Alfredo Diaz Domingez, both of Miami, FL, were arrested Monday. According to police, both were in possession of approximately 100 credit/debit cards whose stripe on the back had been re-encoded to include different people's credit/debit card information. Police are working with the banks and credit card companies to locate and notify the victims.

Martin-Naranjo and Domingez were arrested and transported to the Sumner County Jail. Both were charged with five counts of Criminal Simulation and one count of Theft. Bond for Martin-Naranjo was set at $125,000 and for Domingez bond was set at $100,000. Both are scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court in Sumner County on May 24, 2017 at 9 a.m.
