The Hendersonville Commando football program began their organized team activities Monday morning, July 10 at Robert E. Ellis Middle School. The varsity players hit the weight room at 7:30 am before heading out to the practice field around 9:30 a.m.

The Commandos will continue with OTAs for the remainder of the week before going into two-a-days beginning July 17. Players will have a morning practice that begins at 7:30 a.m and will run through 10 a.m. Evening practice will begin at 4:30 p.m. and will run through 7:00 p.m. with the exception of Wednesday's before school begins.

Full pads will begin July 24 with the Commandos first scrimmage soon to follow. The Black and Gold will be in action July 28 at Siegel for the varsity and freshman team. Action slated for 5 p.m. Hendersonville will scrimmages on Aug. 1 against Oakland and White House on Aug. 8. Both scrimmages begin at 5 p.m. Hendersonville will travel to Cross Plains on Aug. 11 for the East Robertson Jamboree.

Hendersonville will open the 2017 season on Aug. 18 on the road at Blackman High School in Murfreesboro.
