Hendersonville police are asking for the public's help in identifying someone who they believe snuck into Nannie Berry Elementary School and destroyed a laptop computer.

An image of the young, white male was caught on surveillance video, according to HPD Det. Neal Harris. Harris said the person, who appears to be of high school age or slightly older, entered the school through a door that was locked, but not fully latched, just before midnight on July 23.

The suspect went through several classrooms in the school and destroyed a laptop computer, Harris said. There was no indication that anything was stolen from the school, he added. The suspect faces possible trespassing and vandalism charges.

Anyone with information about this crime can submit tips by calling the Crime Stoppers hotline at (615) 573-5400 or text tips to 274637 (CRIMES) using keyword TIPHPD.
