The Hendersonville Lady Commandos begin their quest towards a successful 2017 with four preseason scrimmages slated before their August 15 opener against Father Ryan.

HHS will travel to Franklin July 31 before having their annual Alumni game on August 5 at 7 p.m.

The Lady Commandos will close out the preseason on the road at Siegel, August 8, and at White House, August 10. Both matches are scheduled for 7 p.m.

Russ Plummer's team comes in with lofty expectations as 11 seniors will lead his squad. This group will try and continue their dominance on the pitch in District 9-AAA play, and look to finally be the last team standing in Murfreesboro.

This senior class has produced nothing less a district tournament championship each year plus one state tournament appearance mixed with two state sectional matches.

"There are always high expectations," Hendersonville head coach Russ Plummer said. "We are led by our seniors and our seniors have a taste of being in state tourney in past, they have been real close entire career, that will be led by them."

The team will have two training sessions per day before their stadium work day on July 30 at 1 p.m.
