HENDERSONVILLE - Pope John Paul II High School held signing day activities on April 12 for seven of its student-athletes.

CJ Laws and Jack Schumacher were the two football signees for the Knights. Laws decided he would continue his academic and athletic career at Rhodes College in Memphis and Schumacher will attend Washington University in St. Louis, MO.

Elijah Patrick and Laura Beth Case will swim in college with Patrick choosing Kenyon College in Ohio and Case moving to San Antonio to attend Trinity University.

David Thomas and Nate Pianto will also continue their careers in college. Thomas will play lacrosse for Eastern University in Pennsylvania and Pianto will move just north into Kentucky to attend Murray State for baseball.
