Henry "Hank" Neely, age 70 of Gallatin, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, Sept. 9 at 4 p.m. from the chapel of Alexander Heritage Funeral Home (100 Albert Gallatin Ave).
Visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 9 from 2 p.m. until time of service at 4 p.m.
Mr. Neely was born Aug. 6, 1947 in Waynesboro, PA to the late Horace Neely and Maysie Sell.
He is survived by wife of 49 years, LauVerne Barrett Neely of Gallatin; children, Dawn Farner (Dennis) of Spring Hill, Shawn Neely of Gallatin, and Meghan Parks (Jay) of Joelton; brother, Steve Neely of Hanover, PA; sister, Nancy Neely of Spring Grove, PA; and 7 grandchildren, Aaron Neely, Jacob Neely, Cole Neely, Kaycie Farner, Kelsey Farner, Christopher Parks, and Kaleb Parks.
Mr. Neely retired as manager of Wilson Sporting Goods after 30 years of service. After that, he retired from Simpson Strong Tie after 10 years of service. Mr. Neely was a sergeant in the United States Marine Corp. from 1965 - 1972 and served his country during the Vietnam War.
