On Aug. 31, members of the Hendersonville Police Department conducted alcohol compliance checks of several local establishments.
In all 24 locations were visited and all but one refused to sell an alcoholic beverage to an underage customer. That establishment was Genghis Grill, located at 1050 Glenbrook Way Ste. 320., and the server charged was Christian Alexander Knight, age 26, of Goodlettsville.
Knight was cited for selling an alcoholic beverage to a minor and his court appearance was set for Sept. 26, at 9 a.m. in the Sumner County General Sessions Court.
HPD would like to thank all businesses who were in compliance and remind all others that the department will continue to do random checks of all businesses selling alcoholic beverages.
