Carrie Nell Williams, age 89 of Bush's Chapel community passed away on April 17, 2017.
She was born on Jan. 7, 1928 to the late Luther and Annie (Huff) Johnson of Jackson County, Tennessee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Nancy Williams (infant daughter), Glenda Williams (daughter-in-law), and brothers: Joe Johnson, Bill Johnson, and Gene Johnson.
She is survived by husband of 65 years George Williams, sons: Don Williams of Chester, Va, Dr. Dan (Gina) Williams of Franklin, Tn and Max(Donna) Williams of Cottontown, Tn. Grandchildren: Carrie Williams, Dr. Daniel (Lindsay) Williams, Michael (Courtney) Williams, Ashley (Christopher) Wiles, Allison Williams, and Emily Williams. Great-grandchildren: Gabriel, Ethan, Micah, and Clara Wiles; Eden and Hannah Williams; and Archie McDonald.
Pallbearers are Dr. Daniel Williams, Michael Williams, David Johnson, Randy Johnson, Jeff Johnson, and Christopher Wiles. Honorary pallbearer is Steve Johnson.
Visitation will be held at Family Heritage Funeral Home in Gallatin from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 20 and from 9 a.m. to services at 10 a.m. Friday, April 21 with Matt Miller and Dr. Dan Williams officiating the service.
