Situated on 18 acres, Merchant Pointe is planned for 140,000 square feet of retail development anchored by The Fresh Market, Off Broadway, a value-priced, brand-name and designer fashion department store, and a fourth anchor whose lease is being finalized. "The four anchor stores are new to the market," said Britt Goodson, a partner with Carolina Holdings. "We're pleased that each brings high quality selection, service, and a leading retailer among their peers. "Hendersonville is a vibrant, high-growth community which benefits from its proximity to Nashville and miles of shoreline along Old Hickory Lake. Juliet and Jackson Plaza in Cookeville, as well numerous CVS locations throughout Tennessee. Branch Properties, an Atlanta -based developer, has developed numerous shopping centers throughout the Southeast. The project team includes H. Michael Hindman Architects as design architect, Ragan-Smith Associates as civil engineer, and Harper Corporation as general contractor. BB&T is providing the construction financing.
