2 sought in Friday night shooting

Hendersonville police are continuing to look for two individuals they believe are responsible for an incident late Friday night where multiple gun shots were fired in a local neighborhood.

The incident occurred at the entrance of the Autumn Creek subdivision off Drakes Creek Road around 10 p.m., according to Det. Sgt. Jim Vaughn, who said police arrived to find a bullet-riddled vehicle on the scene and numerous shell casings in the area. The driver of that vehicle had already been taken to a local emergency room and is expected to survive.

Vaughn said according to witnesses, police are looking for two suspects believed to be responsible. They are on scene today looking for clues that could lead them to the shooters.
